BNP Paribas: cancels dividend
(CercleFinance.com) - BNP Paribas has announced that its board of directors has decided to propose to its AGM of 19 May, which will be held behind closed doors, not to proceed with the dividend payment that was initially planned, instead allocating the entire sum to reserves.
This decision is in line with the ECB's recommendation. The board may, after 1 October, and dependent on the situation then, convene a general shareholder meeting to proceed with the distribution of reserves for its shareholders, replacing the dividend.
