Société Générale: new strategic plan for 2020.
(CercleFinance.com) - Having achieved targets set in its strategic plan for 2014-2016, Société Générale has announced that it will unveil its new strategic and financial plan today at a day organised for investors in Paris.
By 2020, the banking group targets 3.6 billion euros of additional revenue (or an average annual growth of over 3% between 2016 and 2020), while targeting costs that are no greater than 17.8 billion euros.
Société Générale is also targeting ROTE of 11.5% (i.e. an ROE of 10%), fully-loaded CET1 ratio of at least 12%, with EPS that rises to about 6.5 euros, coupled with a gradual increase in its dividend, with a distribution rate of 50%.
