Publicis: raises forecasts for 2021
(CercleFinance.com) - Publicis' Q3 2021 net income came in at 2,621 million euros, up 11.
9% from 2,343 million euros in Q3 2020.
Organic growth was +11.2% in Q3 2021 compared to 2020. All regions continued their recovery with double-digit growth.
Net income for the first nine months of 2021 reached 7,552 million euros, up 6.1% from 7,117 million euros in the first nine months of 2020. Organic growth was +10.2% in the first nine months of 2021. After a 7.2% fall in the first nine months of 2020, this implies growth of +2% relative to the same period in 2019.
After a better-than-expected Q3 2021, the Group has, for the second time, raised all its forecasts for FY 2021. Organic growth is now expected at +8.5% to +9%, up from +7% previously.
The company has also increased its forecast for its operating margin in 2021, which it now expects to be slightly above 17%. Finally, the company expects to achieve free cash flow before changes in working capital of close to 1.3 billion euros, at the top end of the previous target range of 1.2-to-1.3 billion euros.
