Publicis: agreement for acquisition of Epsilon
(CercleFinance.com) - Alongside its trading update, Publicis has announced reaching an agreement to acquire Epsilon for a net acquisition price of 3.
95 billion dollars, after taking into account favorable tax incentives relating to the transaction (total cash amounting to 4.40 billion dollars).
This acquisition from Alliance Data Systems, with which Publicis will form a strategic partnership, accelerates the implementation of the French group's strategy to become its clients' preferred partner in their transformation.
It estimates that this transaction will result in a double-digit growth in both EPS and free cash-flow per share as of 2020. It is subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected to be finalised in the third quarter of 2019.
