Publicis: in negotiations to sell Proximedia
(CercleFinance.com) - Publicis Groupe announces that it has entered into exclusive negotiations with Ycor to sell all of Proximedia, which "has yet to break even since the beginning and requires substantial investment for it to expand and become profitable".
Proximedia brings digital services to SoHo, SMEs, traders and craftsmen for their presence on the Web and their promotion. As of 31 December 2018, it had 575 employees, including 231 in France, 311 in Benelux and 33 in Spain.
This planned disposal, which could be finalised in the first half of 2019, is part of the "Sprint to the Future" plan. It enables Publicis Groupe to setp up its refocusing on the assets of its platform, which are central to its strategic plan.
