Eiffage: inauguration of Ariane 6 launch base
(CercleFinance.com) - The group has announced the inauguration of the Ariane 6 launch base.
This operation, which Eiffage Génie Civil and its partners won in July 2016, included the construction of the mobile gantry for Eiffage Métal. This mobile building on rails, 90 metres high and weighing 8,000 tonnes, is one of the largest in the world.
Its translation is an extraordinary technical challenge, as is the steel structure of the launcher assembly building, Eiffage said.
