Eiffage: to modernise CCTV at Saint-Étienne stadium
(CercleFinance.com) - The Eiffage Énergie group will organise the modernisation of the CCTV system of Stade Geoffroy-Guichard in Saint-Étienne, where the ASSE (Association Sportive de Saint-Étienne) has played since 1931.
Managed by Saint-Étienne Métropole since 2001 and with a current capacity of 42,000 places, the "Chaudron" has undergone many renovations since it was built.
208 cameras will be installed in the stadium's grounds. The majority are 4k-ULTRA HD cameras, which offer a much better resolution than standard levels. However, this number will be increased to 234 if panoramic cameras are added, which have also been validated as part of this contract, said Emmanuel Coutanson, the technician in charge of CCTV for Agence Eiffage Énergie Systèmes Infrastructures Loire Auvergne.
