Eiffage: awarded contract for Metro line 14 (south)
(CercleFinance.com) - Eiffage announces that Razel-Bec (leader), in a consortium comprising Eiffage Génie Civil, Sefi-Intrafor, Eiffage Foundations and ICOP, has just been awarded the GC03 batch of the future line 14 South, which will link the Olympiades station to Orly airport.
The 365 million euro contract concerns the construction of a four-kilometre tunnel and the civil engineering of three stations and three ancillary works. 420 people will work on the project over its duration (54 months).
The 14 kilometre long underground Line 14 Sud will serve more than 260,000 inhabitants of Paris and its outskirts. It will offer a fast connection between Paris and Orly while serving dense residential areas as well as areas such as the Rungis market and the Institut Gustave Roussy.
