Rémy Cointreau: 9m sales up 3%
(CercleFinance.com) - Rémy Cointreau has reported 9m 2017-18 sales of 862.
1 million euros, up 3% as reported, with organic growth of 5.5% (at constant currencies and consolidation scope).
Organic performance was driven by some of the group's different brands (+7.1%), including Rémy Martin (+11.5%), while liqueurs and spirits (-3.8%) and partner brands (-8.5%) were affected by the sale of the Passoã brand and the termination of the champagne brands distribution contract.
With 9 month sales in line with its forecasts, Rémy Cointreau has confirmed its target for growth in its underlying operating income over fiscal year 2017-18, at constant currencies and consolidation scope.
