Lagardère: Vivendi holds 55.4% of capital after tender offer
(CercleFinance.com) - Lagardère is pleased to announce the results of the friendly public tender offer initiated by Vivendi, which, taking into account the shares tendered to the main branch of the offer, now holds 55.
43% of the capital.
The tender offer will be reopened in its two branches - main and subsidiary - from 27 May to 9 June. Its final results and the level of Vivendi's stake at the end of this second period will be published by the AMF on 14 June.
However, it should be noted, however, that pending the takeover's authorisation by the competition authorities, Vivendi SE will not exercise the voting rights attached to the shares acquired from Amber Capital and in the public offer, so that its shareholding will give it approximately 22.50% of the voting rights2.
