Vivendi: FY 2020 earnings down 9% at E1,440m

The group said that this increase is mainly thanks to growth at Universal Music Group (UMG), Canal+ Group and Editis. LFL revenues declined by 0.6% compared to 2019.
Adjusted EBITA rose by 6.6% to 1,627 million euros. LFL EBITA increased by 3.7%, mainly driven by growth at UMG and Canal+ Group.
Meanwhile, EBIT reached 1,468 million euros, up 6.3% y-o-y.
Net income, group share reached 1,440 million euros (1.26 euro per basic share), against 1,583 million euros in 2019 (1.28 euro per basic share). Adjusted net income was 1,228 million euros (1.08 euro per basic share), compared to 1,741 million euros in 2019 (1.41 euro per basic share), down 29.5%.
