Vivendi: Q1 sales up 10.7%
(CercleFinance.com) - Vivendi today announces Q1 2019 revenues of 3,459 million euros, up 10.
7%, mainly thanks to growth at Universal Music Group (UMG) and the consolidation of Editis since 1 February 2019.
Like-for-like revenues of the media and entertainment group increased by 5.7% y-o-y, mainly thanks to growth at UMG (+18.8%).
Again in organic terms, Vivendi recorded a 3.3% decline in revenues of its media subsidiary Groupe Canal+, a stagnation at its advertising subsidiary Havas (+0.1%) and a 6.1% decline at other businesses.
