Vivendi: 'confident' in outlook for H2
(CercleFinance.com) - After trading on Monday, Vivendi Group reported 54% growth in its H1 adjusted operating profit, which reached 542 million euros, against 352 million euros in H1 2017.
Like-for-like, adjusted operating profit rose by 112 million euros (+31.6%).
Revenues were upbeat too, reaching 6,463 million euros, up 18.3% relative to 5,462 million euros in H1 2017, taking into account the consolidation of Havas from 3 July 2017 (+1,052 million euros). Like-for-like, revenues increased by 4% from H1 2017, thanks to growth at Universal Music Group (+6.8%) and Groupe Canal+ (+1.3%).
