Vivendi: agreement soon to be signed with Mediaset.
(CercleFinance.com) - The sharp increase in the Mediaset stock should continue today after successful performance last night, with the stock rising nearly 8%.
The share has benefited from news featuring in Il Sole 24 Ore, which announced talks with Vivendi to find an agreement between both groups.
Negotiations are nearing completion and an agreement could be signed within 15 days to a month analysts from Aurel BGC said this morning.
Vivendi may agree to pay significant damages according to the Repubblica. However, the amount should be well below the 3 billion euros claimed by Mediaset.
