Vivendi: reaction following the search of its offices.
(CercleFinance.com) - Following the complaint against Vivendi, filed by the Berlusconi group, and which resulted in a search, Vivendi's management confirms that it has acquired its stake in Mediaset in a completely legal and transparent manner.
The group said that it is calmly waiting for the end of this dispute.
Vivendi intends to bury the hatchet with the Berlusconi group in the Mediaset Premium case, Bloomberg reported in early September.
The French group, chaired by Vincent Bolloré, plans to let Mediaset, one of the Berlusconi family's holding companies, take a seat on the board of a broadcasting joint venture that would combine Canal+ and Telecom Italia. The Italian group would bring Mediaset Premium, its pay-TV channel, to this, which is the issue of the dispute with Vivendi.
