Vivendi: at last files takeover bid on Havas.
(CercleFinance.com) - At last! Yesterday Vivendi filed a simplified takeover bid with the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) on the advertising company Havas at a price of 9.
25 euros per share, a recommended transaction whose principle had been announced on 11 May.
The bid is scheduled to open on 21 September.
For the record, the Vivendi group, whose supervisory board is chaired by Vincent Bolloré, bought from Bolloré his 59.2% stake in Havas on 3 July, under to the same terms.
Therefore yesterday Vivendi finalized its intention: an official document said that the offer will be open for a ten-day trading period, from 21 September 2017 to 4 October 2017.
