Vivendi: Arnaud de Puyfontaine to head Telecom Italia.
(CercleFinance.com) - In a terse statement, Vivendi has announced that the Chairman of its Board of Directors, Arnaud de Puyfontaine, has been appointed executive chairman of Telecom Italia at the board of directors meeting held on Thursday.
As a reminder, the European Commission authorised the de facto takeover of the Italian telecom operator by the French group. However, this decision is subject to the sale of Telecom Italia's stake in Persidera.
