Casino: purchase pledges for six hypermarkets
(CercleFinance.com) - Casino has announced that it has obtained promises for the sale of six hypermarkets - which are amongst its worst performers - to members of Leclerc, for a combined consideration of 100.
5 million euros.
These hypermarkets, located outside the Paris region, represented combined net sales of around E150 million in 2018 and generated a total trading loss of about eight million euros.
The disposals are expected to be carried out in the first half of 2019, subject to prior consultation with the employee representative bodies, which met on Friday 18 January, and the fulfillment of the usual conditions precedent.
