Casino: Morgan Stanley raises stake above 5%
(CercleFinance.com) - A notice published yesterday by the Autorité des Marchés Financiers details that Morgan Stanley has raised its stake in the French retail group Casino.
Following OTC purchases of securities, on 16 August the US investment bank exceeded the threshold of 5% of Casino's capital, followed by 5% of the group's voting rights on 17 August: Morgan Stanley's stake fell below this latter threshold on 21 August. On that date, Morgan Stanley held 7.25% of the group's capital and 4.94% of its voting rights.
