Casino: negotiates procurement partnership with Auchan
(CercleFinance.com) - Casino has announced that it is in exclusive negotiations to build, in compliance with competition rules, a strategic partnership with Auchan, which will enable both groups to jointly negotiate their purchases in France and internationally, with their main multinational suppliers.
This partnership, which is perfectly coherent with commitments made as part of the recent General Food Convention, would exclusively cover major national and international manufacturers in food and non-food sectors.
Both distribution groups will offer to associate their current partners in purchasing with this new dynamic, considering that the Casino Group and Intermarché have terminated - by mutual agreement - their alliance in purchases in France.
