Vinci: two road projects won down under

(CercleFinance.com) - Vinci has announced that its subsidiary Seymour Whyte has won two new strategic road transport infrastructure projects in the Australian state of New South Wales, worth a total of about E240m.

As part of an overall project to extend the M1 Pacific Motorway by 15km to complete the "missing link" between Sydney and Brisbane, Seymour Whyte will build the five-kilometre northern section of the motorway around the town of Heatherbrae.

West of Sydney, it will be involved in a project to upgrade a 6.5km section of Mulgoa Road, a key artery linking the community of Penrith to the greater Sydney area, with traffic of 52,000 vehicles per day.
