Vinci: wins Melbourne Port redevelopment contract
(CercleFinance.com) - Vinci has announced that Seymour Whyte, the Australian subsidiary of Vinci Construction, has won a contract for the redevelopment of rail and road infrastructure at the Port of Melbourne, the country's main freight port.
Worth around 77 million euros, and set to last from October 2021 to 2023, this ECI (Early Contractor Involvement) type project will increase the share of container rail transport and thus relieve congestion in the city of Melbourne.
