4 million passengers at the 45 airports of its network in the second quarter of 2020, down a massive 96.4% year-on-year, resulting from travel restrictions imposed in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Traffic thus fell by nearly 98% in April and May. The recent easing, followed by a gradual lifting of restrictions has enabled passenger traffic to start to pick up again, although this is still limited (down 94.1% in June).
"Despite the collapse in commercial traffic, airports continued to operate flights throughout the period to meet the air travel needs of public services," Vinci said, adding that it has put in place protective hygiene measures in all of its airports.
