Vinci: road contract in Canada
(CercleFinance.com) - Vinci says that the consortium in which it has a 65% stake, alongside the Canadian company Graham (35%), has been selected to build the southern segment of the Calgary ring road in the Canadian province of Alberta.
This five-km road infrastructure includes four interchanges, seven bridges and an underpass for pedestrians. The work includes earthworks, drainage, asphalt paving and the installation of street lighting.
The contract is worth 183 million euros (277 million Canadian dollars). Thanks to this section, by 2024 Calgary's western bypass will have over 100 km of continuous lanes around the city, linking it to the rest of the country.
