Vinci: signs contract for Lyon-Turin rail link
(CercleFinance.com) - Vinci Construction announces that it has won the contract for the preparatory work of the Avrieux wells for the Lyon-Turin rail link.
The contract concerns the construction of Lot 5A of the Lyon-Turin rail link project. This includes the preparatory work at the future security site in Modane, found in the centre of the 57.5 km long base tunnel linking the international stations of St. John de Mauriena (France) and Suse (Italy).
The contract in Lot 5A is for the construction of the 4 wells of Avrieux (500m deep each).
With a scheduled duration of 3 years, the project will employ 250 people.
