Vinci: to build Old Oak Common station
(CercleFinance.com) - The Balfour Beatty VINCI SYSTRA HS2 joint venture has announced the signature of a contract for the construction and delivery of the station Old Oak Common of the HS2 High Speed line, for 1 billion pounds.
The consortium will also be in charge of the design, construction and commissioning of Old Oak Common in north west London, building six underground platforms and platforms for the adjacent GWML (Great Western Main Line).
Old Oak Common station will have directly links to three major airports and eight of the ten largest cities in the UK.
