Vinci: Eurovia wins contract in Czech Republic
(CercleFinance.com) - Vinci announced on Thursday evening that, in association with Strabag Rail and Elektrizace -eleznic Praha, its subsidiary Eurovia has won the contract to renovate a railway line in southern Prague, in the Czech Republic.
The contract is worth a total of 120 million euros. It entails a complete renovation project covering over 8.7 kilometres of line.
"The E120 million contract covers refurbishment of the track sub-structure, reconstruction of overhead contact lines, bridges and railbeds, modernisation of telecommunication and safety equipment, widening of some portions of the line and renovation of the infrastructure and platforms of several Prague stations" Vinci said.
