Vinci: signs contract for Dublin ring road
(CercleFinance.com) - Turas, a joint venture between Vinci highways and Abtran, has signed an 11-year contract with Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII), the public agency of the Republic of Ireland that is responsible for road and rail infrastructures.
The contract deals with the management of free-flow transactions and customer service of the Dublin ring road (M50 motorway). It is worth a total of 373 million euros.
Vinci said that the Dublin ring road is used by an average of 145,000 vehicles each day and is the most used road network in Ireland.
