Vinci: Eurovia wins two contracts in North Carolina
(CercleFinance.com) - Vinci announces that its subsidiary Eurovia has won two design/construction contracts for the development of two major routes in North Carolina.
Worth a total of 415 million euros (480 million dollars), both these projects will be delivered in 2022.
In Charlotte, on the I-485, the work will consist in adding an express toll lane in each direction between the I-77 and I-74 (about 26 km) and an additional free HOV (high-occupancy vehicle) lane.
In Winston-Salem, work will focus on the construction of a four-kilometre junction on the north ring road, at the level of route 52, which will be widened to six lanes. This project includes the construction of 13 bridges.
