Vinci: wins two new big contracts (Serbia & UK)

(CercleFinance.com) - Vinci has announced signing a contract with the Serbian government for a 25-year concession of Nikola Tesla Airport (5.
3 million passengers in 2017).

This concession, the first in South East Europe, marks a new stage in the development of Vinci Airports internationally, the group said. The contract includes the financing, operation, maintenance, expansion and renovation of the terminal and its runway system.

The group has also announced the completion of work to streamline traffic at Tottenham Court Road, one of London's most congested roads.

This contract includes widening pavements, creating two-way traffic, bicycle lanes and protected pavements, as well as new sewage systems.

This project is part of the West End Project (WEP), which aims to prepare this area for an influx of users resulting from the opening of a railway station in December 2018. Delivery is scheduled for mid-March 2020.
