Ingenico: could be interested in SIX payments
(CercleFinance.com) - According to Bloomberg, the payment management division of the Swiss stockmarket operator SIX interests a number of parties, including the French group Ingenico.
This entity is worth around two billion Swiss francs, or around 1.7 billion euros.
However, we need to be careful, Bloomberg adds, with the French electronic payments group not the only party that is interested. Indeed, the US player First Data also has its eyes on the group, with First Data's market capitalization on Wall Street representing 2.4 times that of Ingenico in Paris. In addition, a number of venture capital funds, such as Advent, Warburg Pincus, Hellman & Friedman and even Bain Capital may also be lying in wait.
