Ingenico: agreement for new acquisition in New Zealand
(CercleFinance.com) - Ingenico Group has announced the reaching of an agreement to acquire Paymark, the leading New Zealand payment network, for a total of 190 million New Zealand dollars (about 112 million euros).
Based in Auckland, having more than 150 employees in New Zealand, Paymark handles over one billion transactions every year. It is connected to all payment card issuers and acquirers, as well as over 80,000 merchants.
The closing of the acquisition is expected in the second quarter of 2018, subject to the approval of the competent authorities.
