Ingenico: certification of a solution used by Lidl.
(CercleFinance.com) - In a press release on Tuesday morning Ingenico reported that its client Lidl has obtained PCI DSS certification for its P2PE solution.
This has enabled the German retailer to simplify the compliance procedure by reducing the steps that are necessary to obtain this certification, which guarantees the highest level of security of credit card data.
Lidl has Ingenico payment terminals and Axis centralised electronic payment systems to handle over 200 million transactions annually at its 1,500 stores in France.
