Capgemini: new acquisition in Asia-Pacific
(CercleFinance.com) - Alongside the acquisition of the Swiss company Knowledge Expert, Capgemini today announced the acquisition of Aodigy Asia Pacific, a Singapore-based company, with a view to strengthening its capacity in the Asia-Pacific region.
The French technology consulting group said it wanted to leverage the capabilities of Aodigy Asia Pacific, which specialises in Salesforce applications, to deliver and deploy end-to-end digital transformation projects in the region.
It currently offers a full range of customer relations solutions, from sales optimisation to cloud migration and business process automation, through its operations in Singapore and Vietnam.
This is Capgemini's fifth Asia Pacific deal in 24 months.
Its financial terms were not disclosed.
Capgemini shares are up almost 0.7%, about double the market in early trading today.
