Capgemini: Ensconce platform reinforced with OpenNESS
(CercleFinance.com) - Altran announces that it is enhancing its Edge Computing platform, Ensconce, which now integrates Open Network Edge Services Software (OpenNESS), an open-source toolkit developed by Intel, as well as other Intel technology solutions.
"The platform combines multiple capabilities, accelerators and frameworks for rapid development of multi-access edge computing (MEC) solutions," Capgemini's subsidiary continued.
With OpenNESS, Ensconce will be able to provide uniform interfaces for 4G and 5G mobile networks, and maximise the advanced features of Intel Xeon processors and accelerators to improve computing performance, I/O, while reducing network latency.
