Saint-Gobain: two acquisitions in high performance solutions
(CercleFinance.com) - Saint-Gobain announces that it has completed two targeted acquisitions in specialty films and high performance refractories, namely Global SFC and Monofrax LLC, which make annual sales of approximately 20 million euros.
The company has also signed definitive agreements to divest certain ceramic businesses in Brazil and the United States, mainly for the traditional steel market, with combined sales of around 70 million euro in 2021.
The building materials group explains that these moves are aimed at concentrating the high performance solutions business on its largest and fastest growing global markets.
