Saint-Gobain: completes acquisition of Chryso
(CercleFinance.com) - Saint-Gobain has announced that it has completed the acquisition of Chryso, which it announced on 20 May, a group specialising in construction chemicals, which is therefore joining its activities serving the sustainable construction market within high performance solutions.
Chryso provides complete additive solutions for sustainable construction, helping to reduce the greenhouse gas footprint of concrete. It has 1,300 employees for annual revenues of around 400 million euros and EBITDA of around 85 million euros.
Its enterprise value of 1,020 million euros represents a multiple of 12x Chryso's EBITDA of 85 million euros (over the last 12 months) and a multiple of 7.6x, after taking into account full-year synergies to the tune of 50 million euros in year five.
