Saint-Gobain: completes divestment of Sanigrif and Saniplast
(CercleFinance.com) - Saint-Gobain has announced that it has completed the divestments of Sanigrif, its distribution business of plumbing, sanitary and heating, and Saniplast, its civil engineering materials distribution business.
Sanigrif has 12 shops, 120 employees and generates annual sales of around 50 million euros, while Saniplast has 20 shops, 100 employees and generates annual sales of around 40 million euros, Saint-Gobain said.
In 2020, the group also sold its distribution business in Italy, which generated annual sales of around 15 million euros.
These transactions are part of Saint-Gobain's strategy of continuing to optimise its portfolio as part of its new organisation, aimed at improving the group's growth and profitability profile.
