Saint-Gobain: acquires Stikolith in the Netherlands
(CercleFinance.com) - Saint-Gobain has announced the acquisition of Strikolith in the Netherlands, a company specialising in the production of outdoor insulation systems, interior finishing and renovation products and solutions.
The financial terms of the deal were not specified.
In 2019, Strikolith's sales reached nearly 20 million euros. It employs about 50 people at a production site in the Netherlands. Its acquisition therefore strengthens Saint-Gobain's leading position in energy-efficient renovation in Europe.
"The complementarity of Strikolith with Saint-Gobain's existing businesses enhances the Group's solution offering and in particular allows it to strengthen its offering in External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (ETICS) and in construction chemicals in the Netherlands," it said.
