Saint-Gobain: contract with Spie for Sekurit
(CercleFinance.com) - The multi-technical services group Spie has announced a renewal of its contract with Saint-Gobain Sekurit, a manufacturer of glazing for the automotive industry.
Initiated in 2012, this contract has been extended before schedule at the end of 2018, until 2028.
As part of this energy supply agreement, Spie will operates at its headquarters in Herzogenrath, the company's largest production site, and will therefore help improve energy efficiency.
In order to enhance energy efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions, Spie has already set up a new cogeneration unit, a new central cooling plant and two heating systems, while modernising the existing boiler house.
