Saint-Gobain: appoints new Chief Operating Officer
(CercleFinance.com) - Saint-Gobain says that its board of directors, on proposal of its President, Pierre-André de Chalendar, has decided to appoint Benoit Bazin as Chief Operating Officer as of 1 January 2019.
In his new role, Mr Bazin will be in charge of Saint-Gobain's transformation program - including the implementation of a new organisational structure - and the management of the four regions.
Benoit Bazin joined Saint-Gobain in 1999 as director of the abrasives division and was then appointed director of the group's plan the following year. Since January 2016, he has been head of the building products division.
