Saint-Gobain: negotiating acquisition of GLAVA.
(CercleFinance.com) - Saint-Gobain this evening announced that it is in exclusive negotiations with the founding families and shareholders of GLAVA A/S for the purchase of their shares.
Glava, of which Saint-Gobain already holds 17.08% of the capital before this operation, benefits since 1960 from an Isover manufacturing licence.
Market leader in insulation in Norway, Glava has in 2016 achieved sales of over 140 million euros.
It supplies a full range of insulating products and accessories to its clients.
This operation would allow Saint Gobain to reinforce its positions in the Nordic countries in line with its strategy.
