Plastic Omnium: cuts FY 2019 forecasts
(CercleFinance.com) - Operational difficulties in the startup of the new Greer plant (South Carolina) have led the group to review its financial forecasts for 2019.
The impact of these difficulties has led the group to review its operating margin forecasts for 2019; it now expects 6% of sales.
For FY 2019, the group confirmed that it would outperform the global automobile market by at least 5 points - note that world automotive production is expected to fall by more than 5%.
Economic turnover amounted to 6,852 million euros over the first 9 months of 2019 (6,356 million euros), up 17.0%. Like-for-like growth reached 2.7% from 30 September 2018.
