Plastic Omnium: plans to sell environment division.
(CercleFinance.com) - Plastic Omnium has announced the proposed sale of its environment division, so that it can exclusively concentrate its human and financial resources on the global development of its automotive activities.
The environment division generates revenues of around 330 million euros, or 4% of the total. Profitable and generating cash, it employs 1,800 people, operating in 12 countries.
Plastic Omnium says that it "will try to choose a buyer which is a promoter of an ambitious development project for this business at the heart of the clean and smart city of tomorrow".
