Veolia: about to sell businesses to Saur
(CercleFinance.com) - Veolia and Saur say they have signed a unilateral promise to purchase, under which Saur has agreed to acquire Veolia's mobile water services business in Europe for about 190 million euros.
Thanks to this transaction, Veolia says that it will continue to implement the competition remedies agreed with the European Commission under the combination with Suez, in accordance with the planned schedule.
This transaction is subject to the completion of consultations with Veolia's employee representative bodies, as well as obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals and the lifting of other conditions precedent.
