Veolia: EU approves OSIS acquisition by Sarp
(CercleFinance.com) - The European Commission has approved the acquisition of sole control of Suez RV OSIS (OSIS) by Société d'Assainissement Rationnel et de Pompage (SARP), both of which are based in France.
OSIS, controlled by Suez RV France, is a service provider in the sectors of maintenance of sewerage networks and structures and industrial cleaning in Belgium, France and Luxembourg.
SARP, controlled by Veolia, is a service provider for the maintenance of sanitation and industrial cleaning networks and structures, which mainly operates in France.
The Commission concluded that the proposed transaction would not raise a competition issues in Belgium and Luxembourg, given its very limited impact on the market's structure.
