Veolia: appeals decision by interim relief judge
(CercleFinance.com) - Veolia has announced its wish to appeal the decision of the judge of the Paris court.
The group indicates that this decision, which does not call into question the ownership of the shares acquired by Veolia on 6 October, has no legal basis.
The so-called “decisions already taken and publicly announced in the press on August 30, 2020 by Veolia and Engie” referred to in the ruling do not exist. On this date, there was only an offer from Veolia to Engie. The CEO of Suez himself states that Veolia is not at this time a controlling shareholder, says the group.
