Veolia: bond issue on Chinese market
(CercleFinance.com) - Veolia Environnement has announced that it has successfully issued bonds for 1.
5 billion Renminbi (equivalent of 193 million euros) on the Chinese domestic market (Panda bond), securities placed with Chinese and international investors.
These bonds, which will mature in one year, bear a coupon of 3.70%, i.e. the bottom of the range proposed to investors. This issue comes as part of the French utilities group's continued development in China.
Investors' confidence in Veolia's development in China is reflected in terms obtained, with the issue oversubscribed to by 1.7 times, it said.
