Veolia: wins water and wastewater contract with Nîmes
(CercleFinance.com) - Veolia has said that it has been chosen by Nîmes Métropole to manage its water and wastewater service under a 185 million euro contract that will last eight years, which will significantly improve the network's yield to bring it to 82%.
It includes the deployment of over 2,500 smart objects to the network to track down any leaks, the integration of the "Hypervision 360" control system that enables the best use of data to reinforce the management of facilities and better prevent risks .
"Improving the network yield will conserve water resources. In all, more than 15 million cubic meters of water will be saved, that is the equivalent of its own consumption," the group said.
