Veolia: signs contract with city of Bordeaux
(CercleFinance.com) - Bordeaux Metropole has chosen Veolia to manage its wastewater and rainwater.
Alain Juppé, the mayor of Bordeaux and President of Bordeaux Metropole, and Antoine Frérot, Chairman and CEO of Veolia, signed the management contract for the management of sewage and urban rainwater throughout the metropolis (except Martignas-sur-Jalle). This contract will start on 1 January 2019 and will last for 7 years.
This contract concerns the management of six processing plants that have a total capacity equivalent to 1,156,400 habitants, with 4,200 km of sewage and urban rainwater networks for 275,000 users.
